Thus, we ordered a white clam pizza and chicken Caesar salad for takeout to see what we thought. Passing through New England, we saw quite a few ads for Frank Pepe's clam pizza and decided it was time to try something new and different. Again just personal preference, Thanks FP’s for bringing your pizza close to home. All three of our locally top traditional spots and naturally Italy are great. Some in my family may disagree, but you really can’t go wrong with anything I’ve covered in this review. vrs the soft doughy texture of Naples is my preference. Our family also visits Italy mostly every year and although Naples is the birthplace and allegedly the pinnacle of pizza’s I personally like our style a little better, the firmness in the crust here in the northeast U.S. The original Regina and also Santarpios are both fantastic, this is just a little bit different and definitely worth your time to check out. Frank Pepe’s has a slight edge however and also over any other legendary pizza place’s in town. Definitely the best pizza I’ve ever had in this country, the only comparison would be the original location Regina in the N End. The service has always been great, especially the manager Joe who always seats us with a smile. When we heard that a Burlington location was opening we were thrilled, no more waiting months. Tremendous pizza, every aspect from dough, sauce and quality toppings. We’ve been traveling to New Haven CT to visit the original location for many years.
